Hair - For this design i curled the entire head all the way around making sur eno pieces were left at the bottom or sides. i then sectioned the hair into three sections. top, middle and bottom. on each section i grabbed the hair from either side and brushed through to make it smooth, i then placed the curls in the centre of the head making the curls only go down the middle of the head. I did this for each section however when it comes to my assignment i found using a damp comb or hairspray helps to smoothen out the sides instead of the messy, un neat look in the photographs below. I added many tiny flowers spreader around the curls to make my design much more appealing and elegant.

Makeup -

Overall, i am not happy with the way my makeup look came out. It is far too heavy and gives of the wrong atmosphere and emotion i wanted to give of. I am going to change my design to a much more simplistic bare faced natural look. Using a warmth tone of foundation instead of pale, and very little eye makeup to keep the eyes bright and fresh and a natural colour on the lips and cheeks.

Miss Havisham assessment 2 continuity

Miss Havisham assessment 2 continuity -

Evaluation - This is my final image for my second look of Estella. I made a folder with all of the original images from the first shoot to follow and made notes or which way i curled the hair. Making sure each individual url was the exact same as the previous time. I then fractioned the hair into a grid of 9 sections to make sure i placed the braid and bun in the same place. I found this method very helpful as it made my look much more precise and helped with continuity.

Evaluation -
This is my final outcome for the first timed assessment creating Miss Havisham. I wanted 'Miss Havisham to appear tired, sore and weak. By creating grey eyelashes to show how she has aged and dark under eye bags to show exhaustion of her life. The lips i have added a dark colour onto the crack where i have asked my model to scrunch her lips up, this gives of the effect of cracking and soreness. The eyes i used mainly brown and red colours to give a sore tired and weary look. Wrinkles i have placed on her forehead, under eye and  frown of the mouth.
